In Christ

The Veil is Gone

2 Cor. 3:13 And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which is abolished. 14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ.

“In Christ”

2 Cor. 5:17 Therefore is any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; Old things are passed away; behold, all things become new.

John 15: 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

“The veil is gone in Christ”

Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

“3 Things hidden behind the veil”

Eph. 1: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened’; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. 19 And what is exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.

  1. The hope of his calling

2 Cor. 4: 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not. lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of Gd, should shine unto them. Col 1: 26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints; 27 To whom God would make know what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

  2. The glory of his inheritance

Col. 3: 24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

  3. The greatness of his power towards us

Eph. 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
