The Kingdom and our Eternal Reward

Matthew 5: 10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake, for their is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake, 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

What Are You Building With?

1 Corinthians 3:8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building. 10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver. precious stones, wood, hay, stubble: 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest; for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Luke 12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness; for a man's like consisteth not in abundance of the things which he possesseth, 16 And he spake a parable unto them saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully; 17 And he thought within himself, saying, what shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? 18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater: and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. 19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. 20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee. then whose shall those thing be, which thou has provided? 21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God,

Matthew 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal. 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

True Riches

Luke 16:11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

Matthew 13:22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the work; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and becomes unfruitful.

See The thing That Can't Be Seen

2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal; but the thing which are not seen are eternal.

Revelation 3: 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind and naked. 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayst be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye-salve, that thou mayest see.

Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth  not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.

The Conclusion of the Matter

Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. 8 Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher, all is vanity.
